The only issue I had was dinner in the restaurant on our last night in town was denied because they had two big functions booked and we had to eat at the bar but really if we hadn’t been so tired we could have walked 10-15 minutes to find a restaurant anywhere nearby with ease"

"The building is wonderful as are the grounds very traditional. food is great and has a very nice 24hr Bar But what makes this place amazing is the staff very friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure you’re ok. "The Kildonan Lodge worked out well for our stay in Edinburgh. It's approximately 15 minutes from the City Centre. We used the local bus system to get back and forth and there is a stop wthin a few steps of the hotel. Parking is hard to find and is expensive in the City Centre. Our room was on the lower level, so we did not hear too much traffic noise. The room was clean and it did have a couple of USB ports for us to charge our phones (Canadian) so we did not have to use our converter. ...
