"First class location with ample parking places. The service I received for the one night stay was very good . Access to the shower via the bath was difficult for me having a problem leg and no grab handles. As it was only one night I never enquired if there was any rooms with showers (no bath). This was a minor point otherwise no complaints "

"Very big room for this class of hotel, but a disappointingly small desk. My room had two large beds, and a view over a car park. No hotel I have ever stayed at has more plug sockets. Good breakfast selection, with black pudding on the first night, haggis on the second. Would have preferred both! The waffle maker is a nice touch, the only hotel outside the USA I have been in with one. Could do with a greater selection of cold meats and cheese"

"The hostess is a gem! The house is quaint and peaceful. Fabulous breakfast and I love the living room on the bottom floor. Water pressure could be better, but that may just be an issue with the area so I wouldn't fault the propriator for that. The twin mattress in the room was meant for a small child. It was not comfortable for a third adult, but the main mattress was great. Still five stars because the owner is so accommodating and the place is very nice. "
