" I got there very late, no staff available but very good communication via WhatsApp. Able to stay overnight in a very nice and clean place. Bed was very good. Breakfast was provided. Loved it!"

"A very warm and friendly welcome from the owners. Individually and tastefully furnished room. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower in the ensuite. Breakfast was warm croissant, cold meats, toast, scrambled egg, fresh orange juice, and coffee. There were also pastries on offer, and jams, marmalades, cereals, and muesli. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel. all the staff are courteous, efficient and friendly, and they all seem happy in their work. The rooms are spotless and the restaurant is excellent. A special mention to the restaurant breakfast staff who work very hard and were very busy on Sunday, but made the time to clear a prepare a table in the conservatory. "

"Some elements of the stay were excellent the service use of transport and the aspect of the horel. The rooms are specious but dated and the lighting is poor in the corridors and bedrooms. Food was Ok but we did not eat in the restaurant as the themed buffet, though extensive was expensive and too much. It was not well frequented so they need to rethink. "Smart hotel in a great location right in the middle of Valletta. Large room and nice breakfast. Unfortunately, our room (101), was right next to the cleaners closet so we were wakened every morning. Room could have done with a comfortable chair. Also, television is restricted to a few Austrian and German channels, not even anything local. The hotel has no outside space, it would have been nice to have somewhere to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Having said all that, we really enjoyed our stay."
