"A brilliant construction and location in the stunning gorge location. Lovely room and large patio to enjoy breakfast alongside the roaring river. Parking was manageable at the roadside, and the lift ideal between floors. The owner and waitress were charming and informative, but we were both startled and disappointed at the continuing grumbles from the receptionist, especially when asked about messages that my daughter had sent there."

"The hotel interior is beautifully designed and the riverside garden immaculate. However it lacked the service we expected. No lunch time bar snacks but the restaurant opposite offers a full lunch and dinner menu. The additional charge for breakfast was excessive. The hotel is outside the town of Corte so we needed a taxi to and from the railway station which was very expensive given the short distance."

"This is a little jewel of a hotel hidden in the hills of Corsica. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and the sense of peace is heavenly. La residence n est pas entretenue au niveau des espaces vert et chemin au sein de la residence. Il y a 2 piscines. Une grande et une petite avec un profondeur de 1,10m idéale pour les enfants. Les plages sont a 10-15 minutes en voiture. On a 15 minutes du port de calvi. Il y a un spar et boulangerie a moins de 5 minutes en voiture."

"What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again. "
