"We had a great stay in this big beautiful home. Big backyard and a grand bedroom with an adjoining room for the kids to sleep. The host family was so welcoming and kind. We had a wonderful breakfast that catered to all our unique requests! Huge grounds and a pool (too cold to swim in May!) Our boys are 6 and 9 and they loved it. Honestly we felt a bit like royalty here. Highly recommended!!!"

"Beautiful estate with massive potential, but comes up short in the quality of the accommodations. The room was a little stuffy, and there is no air conditioning which made for a rough nights sleep. "We have been 'Chateau' travelers for 42 years. I cannot count the number of establishments visited. Ch Goujonnerie is 'THE' most charming Chateau we have had the priviledge to stay. It was exceptionally difficult to say goodbye after 5 nights. Isabella, Natalie AND Stephen and Michel were the most charming hosts. We will never forget their care to guests. We look forward to returning again and is a great place for a base camp if you want to visit La Rochell or Il de Re or so many other places...
