Highly recommend hiking around the plantations in Shizhuo, and trying as much tea as possible. We didn't make it up to the Alishan National Scenic Area, but the hiking around the B&B was amazing.

"The hotel is in walking distance to attractions, and watching sunrise is very convenient. The dinner and breakfast buffets are the best during our trip in Taiwan. This hotel has great service. The historic building is old and room is small. It’s ok for short term visitors."

Overall, it is an outstanding location and helpful staff. The most of the staff has got very good command of English. However, some staff is able to speak with good command of English.
