"Our checkin was very slow, we had to wait over 2 hours. But we were offered coffee and nice view and pool to pass the time. Our room was basic. Breakfast was excellent and the staff in the morning were very friendly and helpful."

Skopelos Town by night. Skopelos is a wonderful Greek island with an authentic feel and most certainly my favourite. Reputed to be the greenest of all the Greek islands it is covered in pine forests. It is also relatively unspoilt as it does not have an airport & is not the easiest island to get to. Like nearly all the islands however it can get busy at the height of the summer. The main town tumbles down to the harbour through a mass of narrow streets where rubbish is still collected by mule. The tavernas abound with live music & several well known Greek musicians live and/or perform regularly here.
