"The property and the location were perfect for our honeymoon. We wanted somewhere private, with our own pool and garden but close enough to the beach and other places to go sightseeing if we wanted. This property was exactly what we wanted and exactly what was promised. Natalino was a brilliant host who was always a WhatsApp away if we needed anything. We loved our stay and will miss Sicily and this house but hopefully we will get to stay here again one day!"

"Stunning villa. We loved the pool bar with ice machine and fridge. Pool very refreshing. All the bedrooms huge with aircon and all ensuite bathrooms huge. Nearby Ferdinando restaurant very nice food , worth pre-booking to sit outside., very nice Etna vino bianco. Sigma supermarket near A18 had nice wines. Kids liked Netflix on the TV. Note that they charge 5Euros to take lift out of the gorge so better to take steps back out. Would love to come back to this villa and village , very italian, everyone very firendly."

"Loved the views, authentic and comfortable cottage, lovely experience of Sicilian village life. May be difficult to access for those with mobility issues. Wifi would not connect. Single lane access and street parking not suitable for a large vehicle. Also make sure to access groceries before arrival as there was no grocery store in Savoca and breakfast was not supplied as stated."

"We loved our family stay at Villa Magerita. It offered everything you could want from a holiday. It’s in a beautiful location tucked away in the foothills above Santa Teresa di Riva. We found it easily. Clean, spacious, well stocked with amazing views over to the italian mainland. Natale, the property manager, who lives on the top floor of the villa, was always discretely on hand to help with any queries. He doesn’t speak English but we managed to get by with my poor italian and our daughter’s good Spanish! He organised the gelato/granita van to come up to the villa to serve us. We enjoyed having our own chef , Nanni, cook Sicilian fish dishes for us one evening . He lives locally and provided all the food and cleaned up afterwards . A great character and excellent chef. My only complaint would be with VRBO. I couldn’t access our booking on the app at all, as I changed my email address after booking the villa online last October. You wouldn’t expect this to be a problem, but it was. Despite many calls to customer services and the tech team, their only suggestion was to liaise directly with the owner, Giorgio, for any pre-trip information. This was a far from satisfactory customer experience. The villa and Natale though - 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The property felt very safe, parking on site was welcomed! We had a large patio and the owner was fantastic. Breakfast was great. If I had 1 bad comment, it would be that the bed was not comfortable, extremely hard as a rock."
