Hacienda Los Remedios Alhaurín el Grande by Ruralidays

This villa is located 10 minutes far from the town of Alhaurín el Grande, in the province of Malaga, Andalucia.

It was a 1854 school, which has been recently renovated and turned into a farm. Therefore you are invited to let your imagination take a jump into the past since the architecture and decoration combination provides this holiday home with a picturesque balance between rustic and modern style. The house is characterised by high ceilings and thick walls, which are meant to regulate the temperature, keeping it fresh during summer and warm during winter.

As soon as you enter the house, you are welcomed by a spacious living room and a well-equipped independent kitchen. The six bedrooms are all on the same floor and divided into three apartments connected by an Andalusian patio. Every apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The three apartments are equipped with warm/cool air-con, located in the hallways that separate the bedrooms. The home is provided with four bathrooms, the other three with shower.

The average occupancy is four people/apartment. If less than four people want more than one apartment to be open, they will have to pay €125 extra per apartment.

This accommodation offers competitive prices according to the number of guests. This way, families with a few components won't have to pay the price for the whole accommodation.

In the outdoor area, you will find an enormous swimming pool and a spacious terrace from which you can enjoy breath-taking views over the Guadalhorce valley. The house has a paved access.

Awesome Hacienda
We had a wondfull week in the Hacienda. The Hause is fantastic. Everything is very clean, well organized and arranged with love. We can definitely recommend it.

Perfect family getaway
We are a family of 8, including 2 young children and this house was absolutely perfect for us. First of all, the photos don’t do justice to the amount of space we had, which was more than adequate for a group of our size and would comfortably house many more with ease. The kitchen is really well equipped, the living room also (with a smart TV including Netflix and Amazon Prime access, great bonus) and the individual apartments all centred around a beautiful open courtyard - each containing a shower room and 2 good sized bedrooms - were perfect for us. Last but by no means least, the outdoor space is fantastic. The pool is clean and spacious, plenty of seating space for outdoor dining or relaxing and also plenty of sunbeds. The panoramic views are to die for and the outdoor lighting of an evening really gives a great setting to wind down the day. Nearby supermarket roughly 1km down the road towards Coin is well stocked and into Coin itself (around 3km) is a Lidl and Aldi. Plenty of restaurants and a wonderful ice cream parlour as you enter Coin, plus a McDonalds to keep the children happy! Finally, Dory (our host) could not have been more helpful. Responded very quickly to the only minor need we had during our stay and was extremely polite and attentive. All in all, 5 stars and a guarantee that we will be returning at some point soon. Thanks! :)

This was the first time that as a family we have been to a villa. I read the reviews and had quite a bit of satisfaction. The honest truth is I cannot fault anything. This is a beautiful home that worked for us all. Not far from the airport or local shops/amenities. The owners should be very proud of what they have achieved. The only negative we have is that we had to leave. We are already looking at rebooking but possibly for longer. Thank you so much for allowing us a special family holiday. Steve and family

Lucía half uns sehr bei der Organisation der Ankunft und sie gaben uns viele Einrichtungen, die Behandlung war ausgezeichnet. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und der neue Grill ist fantastisch zum Kochen. Der Pool ist Salzwasser und war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Schlafzimmer war sauber. Die Duschen waren sauber, könnten aber modernisiert werden. Alles in allem. fantastische Villa. Vielen Dank

In dieser Finca hat für uns alles perfekt gepasst: Sehr gepflegter Außenbereich mit einem grandiosen Salzwasser Pool, Lounge und Essbereich. Ein wunderbarer Blick ins Tal und auf die Berge. Zu erwähnen ist auch diese wunderbare Ruhe. Der Innerbereich ist im traditionellen Stil eingerichtet. Ausreichender Platz auch für mehrere Personen in der Küche zu agieren. Ein sehr großer Industriekühlschrank , perfekt um für mehrere Personen die Getränke und Lebensmittel unter zu bringen. Die Apartments gehen vom Patio aus und bieten somit viel Privatsphäre. Die Apartments haben gute Betten und eine sehr gute Klimaanlage. Besonders erwähnen möchte ich unsere Ansprechpartnerin Lucia. Sie ist außergewöhnlich freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Lieben Dank noch einmal dafür. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt! Alles in allem für uns die PERFEKTE FINCA. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder.

De inventaris (met name het servies en bestek in de keuken) en de badkamers zijn wat gedateerd en er zou e.e.a. kunnen worden verbeterd. Echter het zijn details want het huis is verder geweldig! We waren met 10 volwassen mensen en een baby en hadden lekker de ruimte. Bedden zijn een beetje kort voor lange Hollanders en wat harder dan we zijn gewend. De hele grote koelkast was erg fijn met zoveel mensen en de geweldige BBQ hebben we dagelijks kunnen gebruiken. Top Supermarkt op 5 minuten rijden. Al met al een heerlijke vakantie in een heerlijk huis. Echt waarde voor het geld!!
