"Really good value for money, close to the station and about 15 min walk from the port. Few cafes around the hotel for breakfast. The room was clean and tidy and all we needed as a base for our holiday. We managed early check in as well"

"Malaga Lodge Guesthouse was a tidy, quiet hostel within walking distance of the main areas/attractions of the city. Only complaint is that no instructions were provided for check-in and there's no one onsite. We had to buzz the intercom (connected to someone's phone) for 15 minutes (within the listed check-in hours) before anyone answered and let us in."

"The room was very small but cheap. The location was perfect and the room and building were clean. there is a lot of building work going on locally, but that will pass. Ideal if you are travelling on a budget."

"Great location in heart of old city. Very cozy interior. Room and bathroom hasn’t enough lights. Towels wasn’t changed for 3 nights. The kitchen hasn’t a jar, but has a coffee machine. "

"Be aware that as of March 2025 ongoing roadworks is happening in the street that the property is on. They did email after the room was booked and gave me the option to cancel. It would be better to know this information before booking rather than after booking. It would be useful to have a mat by the entrance to the mainHallway to brush sand off shoes before entering building. There is a communal kitchen in the reception area where you can make teas and coffees, etc and take them to your room....

"Excellent place, rooms spacious and clean as are the bathrooms. Great locations just 10 minutes walk into the centre of the old town. Safe around the property. Great value, would recommend if you are after somewhere to base for a short city break. There is a large kitchen and dining communal area but we didnt use it. "

"The nearby area is very industrial with limited options for dining. Was very pleased to find updated room with refrigerator and pot for making tea/coffee. Check in was 2 short blocks away from room. Staff at front desk extremely helpful in explaining bus transportation to city center, and I was very appreciative that the staff let me store by bags after checkout as I had a late flight out of Malaga. Special mention to Tomás and Sol."

"Liked nothing here.as owner of property scammed me. Gave 2 different stories. Trys telling booking only for 1 . Which was for 2 when i showed him. Confirmed on ebooker. Then said got room to cheap. And says then were full . No room . Such a ignorant rotten person to deal with . Walked away and got room somewhere else. Nothing but lies come from this owner . Not a hotel. No front desk . Con job.and robbed me of €50. Have nothing to do will this place . Some experience. "

"The Gran Hotel Miramar is an experience in excellence. The opulence starts with the attentive staff greeting and grows as we quickly checked in and were shown to our room (the beauty brought my wife to tears). The Gran Hotel Miramar location gives you the option of strolling the beaches, a short walk to Castillo de Gibralfaro, Acazaba and Roman theater or explore the many side streets for tapas in the evening.
