Lots of areas to sit and relax, it is a lovely hotel. Very close to the train station. I can highly recommend Hotel Mir Octavio and I would stay again"

"Horrible hotel! Yes, it’s close to the ferry terminal, but it has long since had its heyday. We arrived to an overpowering smell of smoke. Our room was filthy upon checkin. Once that was settled we tried to get comfy and nap. We turned the a/c on and it blew in recycled smoke filled air. We left and went to the Marriott. I spent the next 4 days extremely sick from what amounts to smoke inhalation. There were roaches on the stairs as well. Hotel would not refund and apparently hotels.com doesn’t...

"It was warm in the room and I went downstairs to ask the staff why my AC wasn’t working. They said only the heater was on for the hotel because it was April. So we couldn’t turn the air conditioner on in our room. Our only option was to open the windows and it was extremely noisy with motorcycles driving by almost All the time. I was there during Easter week and everything around was closed."
