"Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was quiet couldn’t hear any noise from other rooms. Nice and central so easy to explore Hjo on foot from the hotel. "

"this was our second lenghty stay at the Majoren. August 2023 was the first. As was the case last August, we again enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It's a nice boutique hotel very close to the train station and central square as well as the university. The station (trains and buses) is a 10 minute walk away. "This hotel is across the street from an ICA grocery store. Although I did not use it my room had a stove. The room also has a refrigerator, sink, dishes and cutlery. Nice break on my trip from restaurant food. There are not a lot of restaurants within walking distance but I tried He Longs asian food and pizza at Restaurang Viktoria; both were tasty. The hotel provided the basic Scandinavian fare for breakfast. However, the best part of this hotel is your host Andreas! I best describe him...
