"Our room was well designed and comfortable, four poster bed with a great private terrace and lovely views of the old town. The hotel itself is well located and appointed with a good bar and lovely breakfast room. Just an observation and not a criticism, the light fittings are positioned to low and there are some repairs and new furnishings required to bring things to the highest standard. "

" My stay at this property was excellent! The location is simply breathtaking, nestled in the beautiful Sierra mountains. We used this charming spot as a stopover on our journey from Ronda to Seville, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. "The house is amazing; huge, clean, well-equiped and the view is speechless. The owner is available to answer any questions as well as Esther who is in the village to welcome you and answer any other questions you may have. If you are looking for a quiet village, this is perfect. We did a few trails which all started iin the village. You can also find a few grocery stores. Since it was early in January, not all restaurants were open. We arrived by train and took a taxi from the train station located in El Colmera (no train station in Gaucin)). The only taxi drive, Javier, is fantastic!! We had a great time!!"

"Arcos is a peculiar hotel located atop a cliff on the highest part of town. Do not try driving on the towns narrow streets. Call the hitel and get directons to the remote parking area. Beautiful town and many bars and restaurants to choose. "
