"Horses for courses really. Very highly rated by others - walkers and wine buffs, perhaps - but it wasn’t for us. The building is very attractive; the proprietor was very pleasant; the breakfast was good. The room was spacious & clean but badly thought out - e.g. amongst other things, power sockets for the bedside were behind the bed and inaccessible, the loo was situated below a very low, sharp point of the ceiling, the curtains served no purpose at all. "Beautiful views and very quiet."

"Had a few issues due to booking via Hotels.com, but the owners and staff at the property were great. The suite we had was massive, with 2 bath/shower rooms, and both had great views. There was a well equipped kitchen available if you wanted to self-cater. Free parking on site, and only a short walk to the beautiful town of Traben-Trabach. Only a short stay this time, but I hope to return for a week next year, to take advantage of the hiking, cycling and wine in the area. Many thanks to Niels...

"Nice family run hotel with helpful hosts. Enjoyed conversations over breakfast about the local area and things to do. Clean large room with view over the street. Free Riverside parking a short walk from the hotel. Nice alternative to staying directly in Cochem."

"Sehr gut gelegen. Zu Fuß kann man wunderbar den Ort erkunden. Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung. Man ist sehr schnell in Bernkastel-Kues, Traben Trabach, etc. Wir als Hundebesitzer wurden herzlich aufgenommen und man hat schöne Möglichkeiten, mit dem Hund zu laufen. Alles in Allem empfehlenswert."

"Fast alles da was man braucht. Die Räume sehr großzügig, hell und modern und neuwertig eingerichtet. Ein Staubsauger wäre noch nett, oder mindestens ein Kehrblech. Mit Baby hätten wir zwischendurch gerne den Fußboden ordentlich gereinigt. Bei der nächsten Reinigung möglichst auch einmal in allen Ecken (oben und unten) die Spinnweben entfernen und die Fußleisten entstauben. Vom letzten frischen Anstrich befand sich noch Baustaub an diversen Stellen und Abklebband an der Decke im Flur zum...

"A lovely comfy home with a wonderful view of the Moselle, convenient parking, a sweet back garden and the surprise of an indoor pool, sauna and steam room for relaxing in after a big day of sightseeing. Checking in was a pleasure, made both informative and fun by the happy Mrs Schumaker. It was a delight to return here each evening, and relax in the cosy comfort of this house."
