Great beach. Very private. Gorgeous. Great swimming. White sand. Warm water. Nice pool. The beach was the best part. The hotel was another matter. Hidden in the back of a very rough neighborhood and the drive from Alexandria is pretty long. No safety concerns from what I saw, but it's a diamond in the rough to be sure. Not a very pleasant ride, especially if you haven't lived in the middle east before and aren't used to shaa3by neighborhoods. When you want to go back to town, there are tons of little vans that will take you back for a few EGP per person. The town isn't super accustomed to foreigners and so you'll get lots of stares, but everyone is nice there. There was a strange smell on the second floor which was unpleasant and the bathroom smelled bad as well, but my guess it that it's just because the water table is so high near the beach. Nice looking hotel though. Fairly new. Breakfast was great, and the staff was kind. I'd stay there again for sure because of the beach and the price. Rooms were clean. Beds were nice, and the wifi was strong.

The room was not clean, the staff was not cooperative and some of the facilities were not available ( the telephone was not working and water pressure was very low I was not able to take my shower). The breakfast was very bad and there are a lot of flies and mosquitoes.

The staff were very helpful The one down side for me was the hallways were very dark and not all the lights worked in the room. And there was no wifi in the room.

Avstressande miljö men svår att finna !
Hotellet är beläget i ett mycket lugnt läge vid Medelhavet strax väster om Alexandria. Man bör ha en lokal taxichaufför med lokalkännedom eftersom hotellet ligger isolerat i ett område med mycket slitna hotel och lägenhetshotell från 60-70 talet. För tillfället var beläggningen på hotellet förmodligen endast 10 % men är fullbelagd under juli-augusti främst av semesterfirare från Cairo. Det är en mycket lugn atmosfär och fina badmöjligheter i pool och hav. Perfekt avkoppling ! Hotellet serverar dock inga alkoholhaltiga drycker ...men dom kan man givetvis finna på hotellen i centrala Alexandria. Helhetsintrycket är en stark 4:a !
