"The home is beautiful & accommodations are wonderful. It is clear a lot of hard work has gone into stellar remodeling & the decor is a very nice blend of modern & antique. We absolutely loved our stay. The location is great to visit local hiking & sites in Newark, Zanesville and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay again if in the area!"

The first impression was an overgrown walkway and slippery steps without a hand rail. There was no mat to wipe our wet shoes inside the door. It is advertised for 13 people, but seating in the large TV room for only 6-7, despite plenty of room for more. "The property looked great just like the pictures on the website. The area was okay. Could maybe use 2 more TV’s in two of the bedrooms. I have college students and not enough to go around. And the Attic bedroom is really nice but could use a ceiling fan."

"On a 1-10 I give it an 8. What would make it a 10? ( I stay at a lot of vrbos)-fix fridge ice/water dispenser, put tissue box in restrooms, put hooks in bathroom for towels, robes, clothes, put dresser or tables in bedrooms to put stuff on, get a colander in kitchen, add some wine glasses. "
