"Wonderful hotel and staff, the two restaurants were very good and we loved the place. I loved Alesund, when we were eating dinner a marching band marched and played its way down the street, it must be a fabulous community.

They are doing construction on the tunnel to get to Alesund (from the airport). Make sure you leave early for your flight to compensate for the possible long wait that you might have just to get thru the tunnel.

We did the Sukkertoppen hike, and I would recommend that as a fun way to get into nature and see the city.
