"Great place to stay in Albufeira. Just as advertised. Lots of room, great patio to relax on in mornings and evenings. Comfortable bed, and good water pressure for showers. It’s on a hill and you need to walk up (about 10 min walk) from either marina or old town….we are retired and in our mid 60’s and it was ok for us. Property manager, Katalan, was excellent to deal with….she had lots of useful suggestions for us. We would recommend."

In fact, the Baia village complex is lovely. Not too big, beautiful rooftop views, and a very attractive pool. "We had the most amazing stay at Matt and Gabrielle’s property. The place is so well equipped, left us wanting for nothing. The location was ideal, very central and only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. The communication with Matt and Gabrielle was so welcoming, easy and fast. Sonia was there to greet us when we arrived. Again…very welcoming and she was incredibly helpful. Airport pick up and drop offs were organised for us, and we were accommodated to regarding check in...

"We arrived during a rain storm. After the check in, we found that our apartment was leaking water through the roof. After a phone call with the host, we were transferred to another apartment, which was also flooded. Finally, a third apartment was dry enough, but it was really run down and without WiFi (very important to us). After agreeing to stay there for a week until an adequate apartment was free, we were again transferred to a 4th apartment, which was nicely furnished, but had black mold on...
