La Perla is a perfect place for your Old Town stay and its many activities. This 1BR/1BA adobe casita in Albuquerque's historic Old Town neighborhood is a 3-minute stroll from Plaza Vieja, restaurants, museums, galleries, and shops. Often described by guests as a home away from home, La Perla is the quintessential New Mexico experience with modern conveniences. The casita sleeps 2 adults with a queen-size bed in the bedroom Enjoy the lovely courtyard during the warm weather months. Sip a glass of New Mexico wine while relaxing in front of the living room's inviting gas kiva fireplace in the winter. The bedroom has a courtyard entrance, queen-sized plush mattress, dresser, closet, and shower. The kitchen has a coffeemaker, microwave, and washer/dryer (but no dishwasher.).

From the first cuppa joe in the morning to the sunset on the Land of Enchantment, La Perla says home. Cozy accommodations with all the comforts!

Very cute and cozy house, down the street from sawmill. The sawmill, dinosaur museum, science museum are just a short walk through a beautiful park. Loved staying there!

Perfect casita!
Checks every box for a five star casita in Old Town. Great location, well appointed, beautiful and private courtyard, comfortable bed, and an awesome host (Rob). The thermostat controlled fireplace was a very nice touch. Will definitely stay again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay again, next time we visit Albuquerque. The property was safe and secure with easy access to Old Town. The patio space was well kept and a great place to sit, relax and hang out. Any issues were handled quickly and efficiently by the host.

Phyllis & Rob were wonderful hosts! The vrbo is exactly as listed, great location and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. They were quick on communication and super helpful with local recommendations. Would highly recommend staying at their place!

I could not have had a better experience. Beautiful casita within walking distance of anything in Old Town. The hosts were attentive and knowledgeable about Albuquerque. Lovely evening chats in private courtyard. Would go back in a minute.

What a wonderful place to stay!!!! The house is charming and truly accomodated family and friends The garden was a wonderful place to visit and enjoy the beautiful weather.. We enjoyed time with the owners, Phyllis and Rob and they made every effort to make us feel at home. The location is wonderful and allowed for easy walking access to restaurants and shopping in Old Town. La Perla is truly a jewel.

Perfect!!
I LOVED saying at LaPerla!! This is probably the best place I’ve stayed in through VRBO or Air B&B. Location is great and just off the interstate and the casita was so comfortable. It had everything we needed for our 5-night trip. Bed is comfortable with a variety of pillow types and towels & sheets are soft. Phyllis is a very kind host and Aggie provides friendly company.

Perfect Place & Host!
What a great find! Property was so nice and homey and very clean! with many extras like varieties of coffees and creamers, extra towels and box tissues, beautiful gas fireplace! and a comfy bed! The outdoor patio was very serene and secure! Such a pleasure meeting the host, Rob and his two fur babies! Such a kind man! and his dogs were so sweet and welcoming to my dog Max! Can’t wait to return!

Perfect Setting and Perfect Hosts!
What a nice oasis in the midst of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and even hosted a birthday dinner while there. The living area and kitchen were so cozy, and the bedroom cool and peaceful. We walked to old town and enjoyed the shops and dining. Phyllis and Rob couldn't have been nicer. We didn't have a car and they took us to get groceries and let us borrow their grill for our birthday celebration. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Best host ever!!
The location was perfect for shopping, museum, park. Cute little casita that accommodated 3 sisters. Rob, the host and owner that lives in the main house was johnny on the spot for anything we needed. He even shared a social hour with snacks and wonderful conversation on the patio one evening. I would definitely stay here for any return visits. He is currently in the process of updating the furniture. Go to Lowe’s Country Market on Lomas and 11 Street for your full service grocery needs. It is just a little over a mile away. I believe airport is under 6 miles away.

It doesn’t get any better!
This was a dream VRBO. The property is incredibly well prepared. If you need it, it’s there. They thought of everything. The patio was WONDERFUL!!! Extremely well maintained and Rob shared some veggies from his backyard garden. We had a few friends over during our 2 week stay for coffee or wine on the patio. Agatha, the very mellow lab, that hangs out on the patio was great ! The unit itself was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed VERY comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. And the living room was inviting. Any needs we had during our 2 week stay were addressed kindly, quickly and professionally. The property is very safe and secure. A beautiful park is located with-in one block. Charming Old Town Albuquerque with great shops and eateries is almost in your backyard. We have stayed at several vacation rentals and this tops the list. We are already planning me next visit.

Tiny but wonderful
The casita is a gem! What originally sold us about the unit was the enclosed court yard...perfect for our dog , Banks, and for drinks in the afternoon. The kitchen had all the necessities when we wanted to cook at home. The bed was comfy, but be prepared...the shower is small! My 6'3" husband needed to duck to enter! The location is walking distance to all of Old Town, with wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and shops. Most importantly, Phyllis and Rob are great hosts! So friendly and helpful..and patient with Banks! We hope to have the opportunity to stay there in the future! Thanks Phyllis and Rob!

Charming adobe casita
Our stay during the Balloon Fiesta was magical! Rob and Phyliss were the greatest hosts. Rob shared his tomato's straight from the garden, and it was a real treat to have a picnic lunch on the beautiful patio, with home grown tomato's on our sandwhiches. Phyliss has such a great laugh and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her. She was a wealth of knowledge of the area. We couldn't of been more pleased with the great location. Old Town was literally a few houses away. There were many great restaurants in Old Town and the town plaza always had something going on. Loved looking at the wares of the local artists. Loved hearing the live music of the pan flute, so relaxing. The Casita was even more charming than the pictures. It has great character and history. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. Water pressure was fantastic, too. I can't forget to mention Abbey, (the lab) she was the sweetest dog, and loved to play catch. We really enjoyed her visits on the patio. I wish I could give 10 stars, as this place surpassed our expectations. LaPerla is a little gem and I would highly recommend to all my family and friends.
