We were away for a family celebration and the villa was perfect for our family. It is a bit out of the way but we used taxis instead of getting a car. We found the most amazing beaches in Sao Rafael totally breathtaking and worth exploring. Great place to stay very spacious with everything you need for your stay

Excellent on let down cleanliness was poor with dead flies and cod webs and spiders in the corners however the villa was excellent and so peaceful and would not deter us. The place just needs a bit of loving considering we stayed at the start of the season

Wonderful!
Ocean View Residences is a wonderful place for an Algarve getaway. In the shoulder season it's quiet and relaxing. Please note that Reception is open from 9 to 6. They are very friendly and helpful. They will bring fresh towels, etc halfway through your stay but you can get whatever you need from reception at any time. No housekeeping is done during your stay. Wifi was 2€ per day and the connection was good. The pool is lovely though a bit cool. The condos are amazing, our only complaint would be that the beds are hard. Not a big deal though, really. The views are incredible and the place is fully equipped (incl washer). The kitchen might be missing a few details (like a veggie peeler, for example) but nothing we couldn't live without. They are about 4km from Praia da Gale and 7km from a huge mall. There is also a big grocery store (Continente) in the center of Albufeira. A car is a must, parking is plentiful. Clearly a lot of thought went into this place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Very good value, and you can indeed see the ocean
Very pleasant three day stay. A little out of town, but there is parking, and cabs are easily obtainable for a 5-10min trip to Albufeira or beyond. Accommodation very spacious, clean and bright. The apartments we stayed in could accommodate six (2 doubles, one twin) in comfort. Wifi worked well. Since these are apartments, there is limited onsite service but the lady on duty coped well with our requests. Didn't try the pool but it looked pleasant. We went in May, obviously not peak season, so cannot vouch for how busy it is in the summer.
