NOT RECOMMENDED The property was very tired and needed a lot of maintenance. The dish washer did not work, the washing machine blew the kitchen circuit breaker and was full of dirty water. Also some of the pillows had old blood stains and no pillow protectors, some of the pillows were unusable. There were no spare toilet rolls, washing up liquid, tea towels, disinfectant on arrival. The towels that were there were not enough for 2 weeks and were old and worn out Worst of all there were cockroaches in the kitchen every night which made this a not self catering property due to hygiene difficulties. We could not store any food items in the kitchen and this meant added cost to the holiday as every meal had to be eaten out. Outside there were no comfortable chairs to sit on and the terrace could do with a repaint. However the property was close to very good restaurant's, bars and shops. The air conditioning worked, water was hot when required and the fridge freezer worked.

House of Arch - great base for a stay in Albufeira
House of Arch is in an excellent location right in the heart of Albufeira Old Town. There are a couple of things that the owner has scheduled for upgrade over the winter and this will only make the apartment even greater value. Excellent communication with the owner and all the expected facilities make this a really good option for anyone looking for a break in Albufeira. Highly recommended

Great location - 2 minute walk to beach and centre of the old town. Apartment was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Beautiful view from the balcony. Owner was extremely helpful with all our needs and easy to get in touch with.

BEST LOCATION IN OLD TOWN ALBUFEIRA
located 2 minutes from the beach, next to the best restaurant in Albufeira, and in the middle of old town. View from the terrace is beautiful, especially at night. Vasile, the manager was very helpful during our stay. The Wifi connection is fast so you can keep up with all the news from home. There is a small super market next door so you can get beer and ice before your two minute walk to the beach, through the tunnel. We went in August when it never rains, and every day is beautiful. Also next door is the Bailote restaurant, the finest in Albufeira. I would strongly recommend the tiger prawns, and the Bacalhau. The days are hot but the cool breeze at night makes for great sleeping. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, and spacious refrigerator. The washing machine was needed for our long stay, and often we would sit out on the terrace at night, drink wine, and enjoy the view. We look forward to returning to wonderful Albufeira.
