"We enjoyed the esthetic of this old house. We were there in late October and while there is heat, it is an older drafty house without modern windows etc and the thermostat limited to 19 C, which felt kind of chilly. I think it would be wonderful in summer. Kitchen was good except all the knives were very dull- hard to cut our baguette. The listing says there is a dryer and hot tub, but there is not. Only a washer and bathtub. The cleanliness was okay but once I discovered it was our job to clean the place I understood why. Since the cleaning is expected of the guest, I imagine it's a little hit and miss. We probably would stay here again in the summer months. Good location, beautiful region, very close to WWI sites and museums. It is the location of the Battle of the Somme. "

"This is a lovely place to stay! Spacious comfortable and clean room with every thing you could need. The breakfast is a work of art and made to order in a beautiful setting. Parking is very easy and we were made to feel extremely welcome. Definitely recommend! "

"The property was well situated on quiet street in Albert 10 minutes walk to supermarket,train station and restaurants. I found the property to be clean, spacious with an open plan living room and kitchen. Toilet was downstairs with a shower and washing machine available, bedrooms were comfortable , clean with plenty of space. There is free parking outside the property and it’s very close as I said to all of the amenities available in Albert. The only thing negative is that it lacked warmth , quite clinical ( could do with a rug or carpet etc)"

"Located in a very convenient position, it felt like home straight away. Restaurants, park, museum, church, corner shop and a public parking area all a block away. Very close to the railway also. Clean fresh and cosy, but still plenty of room. Thank you to our host Anne-Laurence for presenting such a delightful property."

"the accommodation was at a great location, Lidl supermarket within 3 mins walk and allowed us to cook for ourselves, rather than going out to a restaurant. The online check in form was not working (I assume) as I got many emails from VRBO to check in, however I had done it each time. In the end we got the information to the right place and lock box code was provided. "

"Renovated in 2023, this is a delight. Very well appointed and comfortable, with easy, spacious parking, the hotel provided everything we needed. Dinner was not available in the hotel, but a 15 walk into Albert provided a choice of bars and restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good selection to suit UK and continental palletes. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful home, will be even more amazing when the pool opens. The only discrepancy is that a clothes washer/dryer was listed when I booked but was not operational when we were there."
