"Traveling with friends thru Portugal and stayed here 1 night. Perfect location for walking to Evora walled city; free parking; comfortable beds and rooms; delicious breakfast included; enjoyed indoor pool/sauna/steam room area in the early evening. Left a Samsung tablet by mistake and the hotel staff went above and beyond to secure it; they offered to help get it shipped to home but we decided to return and pick it up instead. Would definitely recommend this hotel!! "

"As we are driving, the Pousada was challenging to find. Once found, the front desk staff were amazing. Sorry to say, but the dinner meal was very overcooked & I couldn’t eat it."

"Just an amazing experience and stay in Évora. The staff was incredibly helpful all the way through our stay. Helped us with getting to the bus and simply so friendly and pleasant. "Overall, property is great. But we rented a car and it was impossible for us to go through the narrow road at Sharp 90° turn to get to the hotel to unload our luggage. So we had to find a public parking lot where we could park the car overnight, which was another fiasco was more parking lots catered to the residence around them and had very limited overnight parking. Splendid Oasis in the heart of Alentejo- "Farmhouse"

Amazing Alentejo Farmhouse

"We had an amazing time at this beautiful farmhouse. The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Andrea and Andreas were very nice and quick to reply to any questions. The grounds are spectacular with sheep as your closest neighbours. It was not clear when we booked that our accomodations would be away from the main building/pool and patio but with bicycles made available to us it was easy to go back and forth. Petro and his daughter were a very kind welcome party. The little shop was a nice place to get some good products and the welcome package left for us in the house was a very nice touch. We would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone."

Casa da Matriz is the ideal place to rest or for your business trip.

Good place

"We stayed one night at this place and it was a pleasant experience. One thing we noticed however were the ants in the patio which eventually made their way into the washroom. Not sure if we had stayed longer if they would have been all over the house but they were certainly all over the washroom in a short period of time. A minor suggestion would be to place a shelf in the shower to have a place to put shampoo/soap, etc."
