"We had a wonderful time at Casa da Armada and the villa was spacious and comfortable. Our host was responsive and friendly from the time we decide to rent the villa all the way to our checkout. We loved the outdoor dining table under the grape vines. It is located in a rural setting but is only about 10 min car ride to town for groceries, restaurants and any other needs. Upon our arrival, we noticed that pool needed some cleaning. After notifying the host, a pool technician was sent the next day...

"Une superbe propriété ou une grande famille peut evoluer en toute independance. Irréprochable sur la propreté, la maison alterne un decor traditionnel Portugais et un decor moderne. La piscine est superbe avec une tres belle vue. Et si vous y êtes au 15 aout ,vous pourrez profitez des fêtes religieuses locales."

"Perfect size for 9 people. Good facilities within the property and enough space for 2 families. We encountered a couple of problems but generally dealt with quickly for example 2 wasps nest were dealt very quickly. Slightly frustrating that air conditioning in 2 of the rooms stopped working and we were without for the last 2 nights and engineer appeared to be unable to fix the problem. "

Die freundlichen Vermieter Sofia und Gustaf waren jederzeit ansprechbar, hielten sich aber gleichzeitig auf sehr angenehme Weise im Hintergrund. Im Haus fehlte uns an nichts, sogar Sonnenschirm und Windschutz für den Strand waren vorhanden. Die schönen Strände Nordportugals sind in ca. 40 Minuten Fahrtzeit zu erreichen. "This place is a combination of a hostel and a hotel. Can’t rate the hostel even though I am sure that it is good. But the hotel - two penthouse suites - is a marvelous place. It is immaculately clean, has all the necessary amenities and more, the owner is obliging and nice. A five star service for very little money. Highly recommended. "
