"Can't praise Gite Antoinette and our hosts Valerie and Patrick enough. Best gite and best hosts we have met in over 30 years of visiting France. The reality was even better than the photos. The welcome is comprehensive and detailed and extended to a friendly apero - which in our case was held with the occupants of the other apartment and was great fun. Everything we could need (including pool towels) was provided and every offer made to help with our stay including where to visit and how to get...

"We throughly enjoyed our three nights in Anke's cottage. It provided a great base to explore Strasbourg and the Alsace region. The cottage itself is cozy and enchanting, located on the grounds of a larger chatelet. Anke and her husband Eric were welcoming and friendly. I definitely recommend!"

"Es war eine total schöne Urlaubswoche in ruhiger und angenehmer Umgebung. Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für schöne Radtouren. "Jean Paul war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man merkt, dass er es mit Freude macht. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man nur brauchen könnte. Auch Dinge wie Geschirrtücher, Spülmittel, Kochutensilien... Eine tolle Ausstand für kleine Kinder (unsere waren 2 und 5) Es war nicht ganz klar in der Anzeige, dass das 4. Schlafzimmer gleichzeitig das Wohnzimmer ist. Aber durch die vielen Betten ließ sich das auch lösen. Wir können es nur empfehlen. Und der Ort ist ebenfalls schön mit...

"We loved everything about our stay. The apartment was spotless, spacious, well equipped. The outside area was stunning with a gorgeous pool, & our hosts were wonderful, so kind, helpful & informative. Plus we could put the car in a garage!"

"Marguerite was a wonderful host and her house and garden are beautiful. There is plenty of room for a couple to relax. The lounge has two big sofas, nice lights and satellite TV. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a new oven and lots of pans and cutlery. The bedroom is comfortable and the shower is easy to use. We also appreciated the washing machine and iron. We were able to walk around the huge garden whenever we wanted (just watch the mosquitoes!) and Marguerite gave us apples from her...

"We really enjoyed staying at this house and wished we could’ve stayed longer( stayed 8 nights) we were very warmly welcomed the second we stepped through the door . One of our favorite parts was the hiking trails which covered the forest and it was easy to make day trips to Strasbourg,Colmar and even Baden Baden, all the towns had Christmas markets. We hope to return sometime in the future and it is very pleasant to stay during the christmas holidays."

"Quirky, but very well equipped, property with lots of amenities for young (and old!!) children. Swimming pool a real success. Accommodating hosts. Only real downside was its proximity to the motorway. Given the heat, with windows open, noise throughout the night was very disturbing. With windows shut, aircon units in upstairs bedrooms were extremely noisy. Sleeping was a challenge."

"Serviceable family rental flat a very short walk to Europa Park. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was hard to use as there were basic things like a colander and a spatula missing. Easy walk to Lidl or Edeka. Really can't beat the location, and a lot of space for the price. "

Good Service, good value hotel and good location

"We have been staying at this Ibis twice a year for 16 years, and have always been happy with the service. It is our mid journey stop and we welcomed the addition a few years ago of the opportunity to have a hot meal too. We travel with our dog and have never had a problem in that respect. We will continue to use this hotel in the future. Its location next to the M83 is ideal as we just pull off the motorway, have a meal and a good sleep, and then drive straight back on to the motorway to continue our journey. "
