About the Apartment
2-bed, first floor family apartment is located on the San Jaime complex overlooking the pool. It comprises one double bedroom and one smaller bedroom with twin beds, built-in wardrobes and ceiling fans. The living area has a large corner sofa incorporating a pull out double bed and chaise lounge. The kitchen/dining area and bathroom are fully equipped. There is a small terrace to the rear and a larger terrace to the front with gate for child safety.

About San Jaime Apartments
The San Jaime complex is very close to the centre of the resort and only a five minute walk to the magnificent beach of Son Bou. They are set in beautifully manicured gardens with a large communal pool (with pool bar), children's paddling pool, tennis court, children's play area, supermarket, shops and a medical centre.

About Son Bou
There is something for everyone in Son Bou. It can be relaxing but there is plenty to do, if you wish. The beach at Son Bou slopes gently down into clear blue waters which offer excellent bathing and water sport facilities. There are several beach bars and the usual sun beds and umbrellas are available to hire, as well as pedaloes, and for the more adventurous, banana boat rides and speed boat hire.

The beach is within easy walking distance of the centre of the resort which is made up of mainly low level developments and villas nestling into the hills behind.

There is a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops catering for all tastes and requirements.

About Menorca
Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands which lie in the Mediterranean off the South Coast of Spain. With a more conservative atmosphere than its sister islands, Majorca and Ibiza, it is ideal for a relaxing family holiday in a tranquil setting.

Fantastic location and super little apartment
Apartment is convenient to everything that you could need. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pool, bus stop and beach are all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. It is a great location for families and couples and has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Gillians apartment was excellent- only reason I took a star off was because wifi and air conditioning are a bit intermittent. However it was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Everything we could have needed was in the apartment and I would highly recommend SonBou as a holiday destination. Beach is stunning !! Buses are convenient However a car might be an idea if you want to go sight seeing around the island.

Gillians apartment is in a perfect location, just short walk from the resturants , supermarkets and bars. The resort as always was well looked after and clean and tidy. A visit to Alex and his team at Resturant Son Bou (next to the pool, the apartment overlooked) is definitely worth while, his food was amazing. Also the walk along the beach or via the countryside to Saint Thomas is a must as both are as lovely. Thank you Gillian, looking forward to next year for our Son Bou fix xx

2nd stay in this great apartment
This is our second stay at this apartment, following a wonderful stay in 2019, we immediately booked for 2020 (which, due to Covid became 2021!). Once again it worked perfectly for our family. Clean & well equipped, the addition of the balcony canopy this year was brilliant. Great proximity to bakery, supermarkets and 3 fabulous swimming pools, bars/restaurants. The pools on the complex are privately run businesses, so you have to pay €3 for each Sunbed, which is offset against any purchases from the bar/restaurant, we really like this system, as there are always beds available and none of the awful mad 6am dash to reserve Sunbed’s! Great complex, always feels really safe & friendly. Gill has been super helpful and very kind throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Son Bou is our absolute favourite place for a holiday and we will definitely be back!

We spent wonderfull time in Menorca. The apartmant is amazing - clean, equipped. No complains. Also the temperature during nights in the apartement was fine - the winter from the sea made it perfect :-) Beach near the house is amazing. I really recommend the place :) Tengo q decir, q el lugar es precioso!

This was a fab location, very central in the complex right in front of the pool with great ocean and sunset views. Close to restaurants and beach. Great apartment and very comfy for the 5 of us. (Would probably benefit from aircon in the summer months) Very happy that we came to this apartment in Son Bou. Very relaxing. Great communication from the owner before during and after our visit. Fantastic apartment & location
Great apartment, really well equipped with all the mod cons. The washing machine came in very handy & the coffee machine was well used! Really clean & comfortable . Great location over looking the pool & bar. Excellent communication with Gill (the owner) who was super helpful. Perfectly placed for the restaurants, bars & beach, all of which are only a very short walk away. Son Bou is a lovely resort with the most amazing beach. Already looking at booking again for next year!

We had a brilliant week in this apartment. Son Bou is a lovely resort. The apartment is ideally situated in Son Bou Gardens. It overlooks the pool and has sea views. It is comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely be going back.

I love this apartment and this resort. Never get tired of it.
This apartment is perfectly located within the resort. It is a second-storey apartment situated in front of the pool in zone 3 overlooking the pool. The apartment is tastefully decorated - recently renovated - and has everything that you could possibly need. Son Bou Gardens is a lovely area - very well maintained - with shops, bars and restaurants close by. You can't go wrong for food options. The restaurants are all great and serve high-quality reasonably priced food. There are a few bars too with lovely staff and a great atmosphere. The beach is stunning - and has one of the best sunsets I've ever seen. There are three beach bars that I would highly recommend too. We enjoyed our holiday very much and will definitely be returning!

A wonderful family holiday
We are a family of 4 and had an amazing time. The apartment is ideally situated over looking the swimming pool so I could keep an eye on my children when I was sunbathing on the balcony (they are 11 years Old and very good/ strong swimmers!!) it did mean we could also easily pop down the steps and join them in the pool. The crystal clear waters and sandy beach is walking distance, along with the bars and restaurants. Very family friendly and the bars shut at around midnight and far enough way that it’s very quiet around the apartment at night. The bars/restaurants on the actual complex are not very friendly unless you are spending a lot of money there!! And you have to pay 3 euros per day to use the sun beds around the pool, so not so good!!....we got car hire and explored some beautiful coves, lagoons and beaches locally (lots of snorkelling 🐠 and cliff jumping 😬😮!!) The apartment was imaculate and very clean, lovely kitchen area which was well equipped but no Air Con and no ceiling fan in the lounge/ kitchen area so did get very hot when you cooked anything our only niggle!! Lovely family holiday. Thank you

Nice apartment, good location
The apartment is in a good location for the bars and shops and also close to the beach <10 minute walk. The double bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable. There isn't a lot of room in the twin bedroom but it was fine for the duration of our holiday. The balcony gets the sun most of the day and night and is a lovely place to sit. There is no TV in the lounge (which I hadn't noticed when booking) but there is WiFi. Towels are provided but they are not beach towels so you should take your own. The onsite bakery is lovely with delicious breads and pastries. The sunbeds and parasols around the pool have to be hired from the owners of the pool bar and at the time we were there, this was 3 euros per sun bed and 2 euros per parasol each day. The pool closes at 7:30 pm. Gillian, the property owner, was very helpful and responsive in the planning and preparations for the holiday.

Lovely apartment with great views across to the sea at Son Bou beach. Just a small walk to the pool and all bars and restaurants just around the corner! The owner was so helpful throughout our booking process - it was so nice to get back to the resort where we had spent our honeymoon - 33 years ago - brought back happy memories and we collected a few more this trip.

Cada año el apartamento está mejor, estuve en 2021 y 2022 en casa de Gillian en verano. En 2024 he vuelto y he encontrado sofá y mesas nuevas en el salón. Gracias Gillian por permitirnos por una semana vivir en este pedacito de cielo en la tierra.
