"If our room in this hotel is typical then they are in urgent need of attention. The bed was as hard as rock, half the motorised window blinds did not work (one was also ripped and another had hanging cables where the motor had been removed), the outer light-proof shutters were held open by wooden wedges. On the plus side the bar/restaurant is reasonably welcoming and the food was good."

"Very quiet country retreat that is 4.5kms from a made up road,about 7kms from the nearest town which takes about 25 minutes to drive because of the rough track from the Finca. "The house was more spartan than I expected from the write-up, almost like camping, but I'm a hiker, so I loved the remote area and I adapt well to whatever circumstances come my way. The owner was helpful. The house needs work on the shower and the kitchen needs to be better equipped especially if there were to be four people occupying the house, which would literally make for a very 'full cabin' - all four would have to sleep together in the loft.
