Located in the province of Savona, Alassio is a small seaside town that is very well known in the Ligurian region. Thanks to its fine sandy beaches, practically unique in the region, and splendid period buildings, it welcomes a large segment of tourism.
It is the ideal place for holidays with family and friends thanks to the many activities suitable for all age groups. The historical centre is characterised by a long boulevard, 'Il Budello', dotted with public places such as excellent restaurants, bars, pastry shops and shops where you can go shopping. Not to be missed if you walk through the streets of the centre are the 'Baci di Alassio' from the renowned café Balzola, biscuits filled with chocolate and composed of hazelnuts from Piedmont. A few minutes from the centre is the enchanting 'Villa della Pergola', a magnificent historical mansion, now a luxury hotel, surrounded by an immense garden renowned for its collection of wisteria that can be visited during the summer.
A very interesting tourist destination is the excursion to Gallinara Island, which can be reached by boat but where mooring is not allowed as it is a protected nature reserve.
As far as nightlife is concerned, on the other hand, the city offers plenty of entertainment tailor-made for young people, such as the many clubs that symbolise the social life of the place and are known throughout Italy. Among the most famous is certainly the discotheque 'Le Vele di Alassio', which has always been one of the trendiest clubs in the boot.
The flat is about a 10-minute drive from Albenga train station and 1 hour and 15 min from Genoa airport.
