"I would like to recommend this hotel because of the experiences I lived here during my stay. I booked a whale watching tour and the following day I saw the whale from the comfort of my hotel room. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, warm and I had my room being looked after daily (tea, coffee, towels). Be prepared to sit at breakfast table with other guests and share the travel experience, as the restaurant is quite small. Enough breakfast options to fuel the day. Walkable distance from town centre, bus station and even airport if you're keen. "

"This was our second visit to this house; we liked it so much when we visited in summer that we thought we’d see what it was like in winter. Once again, we had a fantastic relaxing stay and made the most of the facilities in the house, the views from the living room and Akureyri. The accommodation is of a very high standard with lots of space and it is kept spotlessly clean. A lot of overnight snow on our final night required a little digging to get the car out and back onto the road. We’re not used to these kinds of conditions, which added to the whole experience so we a third visit is now on our future plans."

"This was a cute little hotel. More like a guest house over a restaurant. The room was lovely and the bathroom decent and clean. There is a shared kitchenette and small lounge area on each floor for guests. The guesthouse is above a cute restaurant with delicious food, and in the main area of Akureyri, so it was very walkable to other restaurants and shops. Parking was easy across the street from the hotel as well and staff were friendly and efficient. "
