"Nice Onsen!"

"We had the family size room which included two western style double beds and two Japanese style futon beds which was quite large by Japanese hotel standards and perfect for our family of four. Our room had a great view of the train tracks which was great for our train-obsessed son. The room was impeccably clean. We loved the Japanese style shower/bath room with great water pressure and seemingly endless supply of hot water. The location of the hotel is very convenient, only a 5 minute walk from the (apparently brand new) Asahikawa train station which includes a food court, grocery store and shopping mall. "

"It was a very busy time, lots of people checking in. Despite that, all staff very helpful and accommodating to foreign travellers. Hotel close to boulevard with many restaurants and coffee shops. Fabulous buffet breakfast. Loved walking around in Japanese style PJ’s. Highly recommend!"
