"I stayed here with my mum during our roadtrip through France. I found this by chance when we needed to stop for a couple of nights. This was by far my favourite stop along the way. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and perfect for recharging. The cupboards were full of useful items (such as plates, cutlery, kettle, toaster, cups, pots and pans etc.). Shower was lovely. "What a find. This is one of those properties you want to keep a secret, in case they are fully booked when you want to go again. The lovely hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming or accommodating. Lots of little personal touches, children’s games (that we played and had no children with us), lots of little seating areas in the secure and quiet garden. Parking is off-road and very secure. "Endroit très calme dans un cadre idyllique et bien situé pour la visite du Puy du Fou (à 1/2 heure de route). Les chambres sont spacieuses, bien équipées et très propres. Accueil très chaleureux, petite présentation de la "ferme" (quelques animaux et un beau jardin bien entretenu) et excellents conseils pour manger le soir dans un restaurant de Saint-Gilles. "This is NOT a hotel! The front desk explained that it is a condo rental. That means you do not get any cleaning, even with a8 night stay. And you get 1 bath towel, nothing else. No replacement towels, and no hand towel or washcloths. And you get 1 roll of toilet paper, then you have to buy it yourself. Having said that, the front desk staff was very helpful, when they were present. And it is only 1 block to the beach. If you have a larger rental car, beware of the enclosed parking spaces...

Adequate hotel for 1 night

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

Cheap and cheerful overnighter

"The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "
