"In our case, my wife and I thought the staff was excellent, the property was very nice, the hotel was very close to the train station, downtown, parks, and cinema. Although my wife and I are multilingual, French is not a language either of us speak, but the staff was accommodating when we tried some simple phrases. In total, it is a hotel I would recommend to someone visiting the area."

"The lobby is beautiful and accessible to use. The room was small but nicely decorated. The breakfast is a great value. The shower water drain was stopped up after one shower. "The hotel was old and needed some repairs and upgrades. That being said, I expected some of that considering the age of the hotel and the location five blocks from the heart of the city. The breakfast and tea room was the most charming thing about the hotel. It was bright and very clean. The buttery croissants were especially good. The best I’ve tasted so far in France (Paris included). The staff were exceptional. "
