"Loved our time at Escape Aitutaki. The house was beautiful and had all the necessary facilities. We had our own private deck and pool at the back which was lovely. Great place to relax and enjoy the sea view. Thomas and Lizzy were very friendly and helpful as were the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

The bikes, kayaks and paddleboards were awesome additions and perfect for use right off the beach. Food was good with a nice selection of options for different tastes. "Tamanu promotes itself as Casual Luxury. It's casual - and very nice - but not luxurious. The rooms need a bench or table on which to lay out clothes, you have to live out of suitcases in the cramped kitchen. The kitchen needs more than cheap plastic glasses - a couple of small plates and some cutlery should be provided so that you can enjoy a snack on the deck. The TV really should have an extensive menu of statins, including streaming services. These are small costs when set against rates...
