"We used this rental as a home base for hiking the area in the fall. It was a beautiful area and one of the hikes was across the street! The host provided top notch amenities making the 18th century building feel modern and welcoming. "

So much history and nostalgia exists within the property, it is on amazing grounds, and the hot tub is piping hot! Perfect for relaxing on a crisp fall night! Plus, how cool is it that you get to say you stayed in a shoe!!! The owners/host were super responsive, no issues with access, and the shoe had all of the amenities we needed and more! "We had a great time. Traveled with some of our elder family members who hadn’t been to Lancaster/Amish country in 20+ years. After lots of shopping and walking this was a great place to relax. Living area was very relaxing, we watched movies, played games. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling in a group. The 6 of us fit comfortably and enjoyed our stay away from our Usual Big cities. "
