" One of the declining number of traditional 3/4 star village/small town hotels that are being replaced by the bland massive chains The staff were brilliant, especially Head Waitor Luc who was charming, interesting and very helpful. The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over."

"The house is stunning, lots of space inside and well equipped. Lovely gardens, the front with a beautiful view of the river and with morning sun, the back of the property with a terrace and big table, BBQ area wonderful meadow and pool. Must return!"

"A lovely relaxing stay on our journey down to the South. Our room was very spacious with a good shower room. All was clean and tidy. The host was great, very friendly and cooked us and other guests an excellent, tasty meal. We had a very good evening all chatting and enjoying the ambiance. A great nights sleep in very comfortable bed. The stay was completed with a plentiful breakfast. Thank you so much...we hope to see you again. "
