"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Maria cares deeply about your visit and responds to any need. The house is wonderful with a lovely fruit and vegetable garden in the backyard. It is a very short 3 minute walk to the center of the beach and our favorite taverna, Mythos. There was a reserved parking place for our rental car at all times. The outdoor shower was fantastic. I highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!"

"Perfect host, perfect location , perfect holiday get away . Stayed a week and it felt so relaxing straight away. Great base for exploring surroundings villages etc but lovely and secluded area to come back to. Beach just a short walk away , edged with lovely tavernas , very friendly staff who will even serve you on the beach as you relax on the sunbeds! (Bonus no charge for sunbed and brolly set!)
