"Somewhere special indeed. From the moment we were greeted by the wonderful staff to the moment we cried as we said goodbye. Everything was perfect. If you are after a sterile 5 star experience then Avilla is not for you. If you want to be surrounded by a beautiful peaceful environment with a private pool outdoor bathroom amazing food then this is it. A most memorable stay for 8 nights. "We booked it staying there before hiking at Mount Rinjani. We didn’t expect much but the views are stunning. The gardens are elegant, the infinity pool overlooks a gorge, mountains, lowlands and the ocean. We should have stayed here more nights. The service was impeccable and the room was spotless. "

"Stunning. The beach, the rooms, the service, the food. All of it, had the best most relaxing time. Felt authentic and traditional but fresh and modern at the same time. In a very quiet location but really felt no need to leave the resort. The cocktails were great and afternoon tea was a lovely touch. "
