"We loved our stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. We got in later than check in and Mark the owner still came to greet us and help us with our bags. He was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the black bear hut and it was everything we needed! Definitely small, but we were expecting it to be, and if anything it added to the coziness! The owners thought of everything from snacks, tea, coffee, fresh towels, you name it. The space was so clean, I have nothing bad...

"Warm, friendly welcome following helpful pre-arrival communication re the restaurant and food options. We had a lovely stay at this property, our first time at Loch Ness and most eager for it not to be our last! Cosy lounges where we enjoyed platters of smoked salmon, white wine and cheeses paired with whiskey all in front of a roaring fire. Perfect! Comfy beds, lots of hot water and a delicious breakfast all topped off with outstanding customer service, nothing too was much trouble. "

"The location was great, right on the Loch and an amazing view from our room."

"Wasn't expecting ensuite to be across the hall from our room, although the Guesthouse reminded me of my childhood family weekends away. A quiet peaceful place and hardly heard others coming and going. We ate at a local bar/ restaurant - expensive meal (exchange rates AUD the main reason) but delicious."

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Inch Hotel. It's in such a great spot - our day was spent visiting Culloden and Loch Ness with the intention of driving onwards towards Fort William. The Inch Hotel was in a perfect spot for a one night stop during this drive/trip. We loved that we could see Loch Ness from our rooms. The rooms were comfortable and decorated nicely. "Staying at this property feels like stepping back into the 1800s. I've never seen so much wood and the decor is really nice. very very friendly staff and though it is a bit rough to get to it is worth the drive. I would stay here again in an instant. I will make one note that you should expect spotty internet, but everything else was completely excellent and absolutely worth a second trip!"

"This property is beautiful and well kept, the owner sent all access info in advance and when we arrived the property was clean warm and stocked with essentials. This was our second stay at the log cabins and we will DEFINITELY come back again."

"We have been to stay here twice now. We love the location. Great hikes, quiet, nature all around. I wish there was a dryer for our clothes. We use the washing machine, but it is usually raining outside or cloudy, so the clothes don't dry. Other than that we love the cozy space and the river just outisde the door. Thank you! Perfect!

"14 of us from Worthing Rowing Club travelled up to take part in Monster the Loch and stayed here for 3 nights. It was perfect for our needs - plenty of bed space and a lovely homely kitchen that we lived in when not on the water. The aga warmed us up on our return from the race and cooked us big breakfasts and dinners. I have the identical aga so it was like being at home! There is everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and we managed to squeeze all of us round the kitchen table but there is also plenty of room in the dining room. The house is also very warm. Sophia was an amazing host, making sure we had enough beds for our group, sending us directions and giving us a bit of background on the house .......and for leaving a bottle of fizz!. There was plenty of space to park our boat trailer and cars. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and plenty of bathrooms so no hanging around for a shower. We hope to come again next year!"

Kilninver Chalet on Reelig Estate Near Inverness

"We found the property to be much further from Inverness than we thought. It was difficult to find and my call to the property management company to assist with direction was never returned. It is a nice bungalow with a lovely view in a quiet setting. It was raining and cold, but the radiant heat was set low and it took overnight to be warm enough to be comfortable. There was a small electric radiant heater in the bedroom that did not provide adequate heat. We decided not to stay the next 2 nights and it was passed time to cancel so we lost that money according to the management company. We arranged to stay in Inverness instead. We would love a partial refund, but at the moment that seems unlikely. "

"Great place to relax and take outings in the area. Well supplied and clean. Would have been nice to have had a little more upfront contact with owner. We had to guess which cottage we were in, and we had to ask for the entry code. We loved the environment."
