"Mill Hill is truely sereal place to visit. From the rolling hills, the quaint wee river, self-shading sheep that looked adoringly strange with suckling lamb, chucks the provided fresh eggs, the grumpy bull, bird-song and of course Kitten who hosted us with love and respect, What not to love! And Amanda’s hospitality, such a treat. It is our new home away from home, or do we just move in permanently? Now that we have our Whangamōmona republic passports.🤗🙏 "

"We had a great stay at Awakino and the location was unbeatable. We had functions to attend in Mokau which was really ply only a few minutes away. We also traveled to Waikawau and it made it so easy to get to. I would recommend this premises for anyone. The owner was very accessible and very friendly even leaving some homemade biscuits and farm fresh eggs for us. It was an older style house and had everything we needed.
