"This historical property is located in the Terra Nostra Garden Park. The garden is huge and delightful to explore. Even though the large thermal pool was closed due to renovation, we were able to enjoy the smaller thermal jacuzzis. We also enjoyed the dining room for breakfast and dinner."

I love it when I find natural frames like this one, shot from inside a cave at Parque Terra Nostra in Furnas, São Miguel. The beautiful garden is built over a massive 10 hectares and it would be quite easy to spend the best part of a day here. There are walking trails, waterfalls, and a massive amount of plants and flowers to photograph and enjoy.
