"Oh, gosh, what a place! Pedro, we so enjoyed your lovely house in the center of this hill town village surrounded by farm land. Each morning we took a walk and were greeted by the village animals: cows, cats, goats, and roosters. Your home was located in the center of all the places we wanted to hike. And the village restaurant had delicious food including the bifana sandwich. Your pool was the highlight of our evening as we swam and rested. We will return!"

"The house had everything we needed. It is certainly somewhat remote and requires a vehicle. Very nice beach and beach bar about a 4 min drive. Grocery store was a little further away but within 10 minutes. A summary from the owner as to what is available in the area would have been greatly appreciated.You need to purchase charcoal for the bbq as none is provided but starter is provided. Drip coffee make is provided as well as a pod coffee maker but coffee needs to be purchased beforehand. Great...

"Great place to use as home base while exploring Sao Miguel. Was no more than 30 minutes driving from anywhere we wanted to go! There's a nice beach within a 5 minute walk, no crowds and still close enough to the action. Kitchen was well apointed so we could cook meals. Any issues were resolved within 1 hour with the property owner on site. Perfect for a family of 5! "
