"I had a lovely stay here and would come again. I will say that while the property is clean and the staff take care of it, it does need a little lick of paint here and there but overall it is a beautiful location and a true place to relax and recoup. I was disappointed that there wasn't yoga classes as posted, but I was able to book a private class with a teacher, who was great. Booked with their masseuse a few times as she was WONDERFUL (Rose if I remember rightly) Handy swimming pool right outside my room (salt). And a little general store on site which after realizing that Plakias is a 15min drive away, was good to have on hand. Scuba diving in the cove was gorgeous and there was a little spot you could jump straight into the ocean near the main pool. The cove is not the beach however, the walk to the beach is about 20 minutes and up some very steep stairs. The view is amazing, but I'd recommend wearing solid walking shoes as there is loose gravel/rocks and the drop to the ocean is sheer. The entertainment was mediocre to be honest, and the location would benefit from a karaoke night in my opinion. All-inclusive does not include all drinks, beer and wine only. But the food was decent enough to not bother going into the town except for a treat. Great nudist beach nearby in Plakias, with regular beach down the road. Lovely little town. "

"The staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, the room was of an average Greek apartment standard. The large wardrobe housed 3 coat hangers (for two people).We purchased some, which isn't a big deal, but shows lack of thought. There was a very sharp bolt in the floor securing the french window , which would be very painful if stepped on.A colony of ants lived in the gap of the bath room door and regularly made huge columns of sorties to the kitchen area, which meant nothing could be left outside of the fridge. The electrical socket by the front door was very loose and I believe presented a fire risk. The kettle was erratic-probably about to give up the ghost. There was a big light that lit up the area outside the apartments at night, which was blinding and unnecessary. The apartment building next door (which was owned by the same people) piped irritating muzak all throughout the day. As usual to these low budget apartments, the shower was problematic. It was fitted way too close to the toilet roll dispenser (soaking the toilet tissue) and the curtain (which wrapped round one as you showered). It was also weirdly too close to the wall, so you had to lean into the fittings to get to the water.The fitting was loose and kept flopping against the wall. A large wide screen tv was situated on the dressing table instead of being wall mounted, so took up too much space. A great location marred by a lack a little TLC. "

"Great beachfront location. Good size rooms with comfy bedding. WiFi did not work in the room, and show curtain cuts shower space in half. Minor things really. Overall a good stay. "

"One of the loveliest hotels we've stayed in on Crete, and excellent value. Our room had a breathtaking seaview and we'd return just for this alone. But the host, Harris, was also very friendly and attentive, telling us how to navigate down to the beach and town. Air conditioning worked like a dream and the bed was comfy. All in all a brilliant experience, and as we are frequent visitors to Crete we will be back. "

"The large dining area beside the BBQ was very hot, partially due to the air conditioning units being there. So we had to move tables and chairs around on the upper balconies to get a shady enough area for ten of us to sit and eat."

"Quiet and rural, relaxing and nature-immersed, the villa was an ideal spot for an early summer break. Nikos was the perfect host, attentive and communicative but not over-bearing, simply offering guidance and support when needed. The villa is relatively simple, but perfectly and comfortably functional, clean and suffiiciently-equipped. The garden and surrounds were naturally beautiful, with cats, peacocks and swallows regular visitors, plus the added bonus of a single-eppearance shrew. The pool is ideal size for a family of three, and its relative shallowness would suit familes with young children. Friendly and fine local restaurants abound, be they the two local ones around four and seven minutes' drives (in Lampini and Mixorrouma), or a sheer glut of them in Spili, an easy ten-minute car journey, The local village Mixorrouma also offers a small supermarket, with two larger ones in Spili. A perfect place for that much-needed away-from-it-all holiday, and thanks to Nikos and his family for the welcome, friendliness and local food-and-drink gifts (especially the raki)."

"We arrived very late in the night but communication was great and key left in door. The property was clean, spacious and exactly what we were expecting. We enjoyed several meals on the balcony with view to the sea watching the sun go down. We had everything we needed including extra towels for sunbeds by pool. We loved our week here and would highly recommend."
