"This hotel was absolutely amazing! The pirate decoration throughout was second to none. It is easily walkable to the beautiful local beach but there is a shuttle bus direct from the hotel. The waterpark is fantastic as well!"

"Up the hill, but nice get away from the quayside tourist spots. Nice, secluded pool in a quiet neighborhood. We're walkers, so the 10 minute trek down to the marina for food and drink was no big deal. In general Agde is pretty touristy - probably wouldn't stop here again. "

Most of staff were very helpful and it was helpful that some spoke English, although we didn't expect that as we were in France and, out of curtesy, we believed that we should attempt speaking French. Activities were free eg. crazy golf, tennis etc. The restaurant on site was for all-inclusive guests only, so we couldn't eat there. Ten minute walk to a beautiful, sandy beach with very reasonable prices for burgers, chips, drinks etc. Unfortunately, although we booked in as...

"Staff were excellent, the on-site breakfast was great with a nice outdoor area to sit in. We didn’t have time for the pool but it seemed nice. Was overpriced for the quality of the hotel and the cleanliness but the others around were even more expensive for similar quality. "

"An old complex that looks like it hasn't seen any work done on it since 1980. Awful rooms. Terrible area, nothing to do. I was looking forward toa swim after my week long bike ride from Bordeaux but the poolm was closed, no reason given. Absolutely terrible place to stay, avoid."

"Location is both beautiful (on the bank of the Herault) and convenient (10 minutes walk from Agde rail station). The rooms in the two outbuildings have their own terraces and are of a good size. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only reservations are that the Wi-Fi is rather erratic and it would be nice to be able to get breakfast before 8 o'clock."

Great view of the canal, bridge and Cathedral Note there is no kettle or coffee in the room, no fridge or microwave. However, there are places walking distance for drinks. "Spent two, very happy weeks at this lovely villa. Very clean and well equipped with a beautiful garden and pool. The location is outstanding as you can walk to the wonderful beach in just a few minutes. Charming shops and restaurants a 10 minutes walk away."

Good spot for a family seaside holiday without a car

"We had a fortnight's holiday in late July/early August. We chose the location because of the good transport links throughout the region and because of the proximity of attractions and activities. The property can be easily accessed on public transport as there is a bus to Cap d'agde from Agde Station. The property is a few minutes' walk from the bus stop. The property was very clean and we loved the view from the balcony. We paid more than we usually would for a holiday rental but as the apartment is advertised for 6, this seemed reasonable. We were quite surprised by the size of the apartment when we got there - it looks bigger in the photos than it feels when you're there. We were glad to be family of 3 (2 adults and 1 tall 14 year old) and couldn't imagine having any of our extended family with us! The property was obviously well-used though, and this perhaps showed in some of the decor and furnishings. Things we loved: the view, good size shower, proximity to beach, boat bus outside the apartment, selection of restaurants in walking distance, being able to get to Sète, Marseillan, Nimes, Béziers, Carcassonne, Agde, etc so easily. The concierge of the property was helpful and responded quickly. We had a great holiday. 😊 Thank you. "
