Very Cozy and Relaxing

Relaxing weekend with beautiful views!
The stay was great, very clean and peaceful. This was a great place to stay to celebrate my wife's birthday. Enjoyed the scenic views of the lake and beautiful sunrises. Also enjoyed the woodchucks who came up every morning and evening!

Great family getaway. Place was clean and well decorated. Some amenities were provided, which was nice. Fireplace was a big plus and the highlight of our evening. Overall, enjoyed our stay and made great memories!

This was a beautiful home, very clean and well stocked. Attention to little details were appreciated. The view was absolutely stunning. Very friendly people in the area and boat rental was only a couple blocks away. Enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful property
This is a great place to stay on Monkey Island! Quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to unwind and relax. The view of Grand Lake is fabulous. The house is very nice and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were simple and convenient. Communication with the host was top notch. We will definitely be back for another stay!

The area was beautiful and the view was spectacular. The deck had a lot of cobwebs and we had to clean the area before we could use it.

A week at Grand Lake
My husband, son and I spent the week at Grand Lake. The house was well supplied with everything we needed to be comfortable. The property was conveniently located and we went to Crystal Bridges in Arkansas to see the Alice Walton's art museum, to downtown Tulsa to see the Bob Dylan museum and to Shangri-la to play arcade games and have dinner. The views from the patio are spectacular and we enjoyed sitting out and watching the boats and wildlife. We will be sure to book again next time we're in the area.

Awesome lake view
We were looking for a relaxing 2 or 3 day getaway with a nice view and this was a great place for that. The lake view has to be one of the best on Grand Lake, especially in the winter. We saw a Bald Eagle land in the tree outside the house on 2 different days, which was great. The house was clean and communication with the owner was very good as well. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much

The property was beautiful & clean. It had everything we needed! We didn’t have to sit outside to enjoy the gorgeous view. The view from the large glass windows in the living/dining area allowed us to sit & watch the beautiful view, since it was a bit too cool to sit outside. We enjoyed our stay & appreciated the host being so helpful & gracious to let us to have a later check out. I would love to stay here again! I give it 5 stars!

Girls Trip
I took my daughter, daughter-in-law and 2 infant granddaughters on a fun, relaxing girls trip for a few days. The property was exactly as described, very clean and had everything that we needed. It was also easily accessible from both Tulsa and NW Arkansas. The owner was very welcoming and responded quickly. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the bald eagle that flew and perched in the trees. It was such a majestic bird! It was definitely a perfect spot to relax and make memories with my sweet girls!

What an awesome place!!!
This place is definately on our favorites list. The view is outstanding. The patio is large. Grill is great. Furniture is comfortable. Tables inside and out are large. Kitchen well stocked. Roads are paved and not steep. No stairs. Beds OK. Only thing lacking are grab bars in master bath. We will definitely be back. Mom loved her mothers day trip with her kids. She is 86 and we are over 60. We played games, watched tv, sat on patio for hours, shopped, ate lots and slept. What more could you want?

Everything was wonderful! Communication was excellent. Cleanliness was excellent! If I had any complaint at all, it would be no curtains on kitchen window. That’s it! Some people mind some do not. I would definitely give this a 5 star rating! The McGuires really know how to help you have a wonderful and enjoyable stay! Perfect proposal setting
This place is amazing the photos don’t do it justice. Walking up you can see the spectacular lake view. I used the backyard for my proposal. I called the owners before hand and checked to see if I could have family be there to surprise her. The owners were very accommodating and I have much appreciation for them. The backyard is amazing and you could just sit and look at the view without boredom. I would highly recommend for anyone to take advantage of this view. When walking up there is a sidewalk that goes to the backyard so it’s almost more convenient to go straight to the backyard which was perfect because I had my dad tell us to go check out the view and take the sidewalk when arriving. My fiancé still did not know what was about to happen and it turned out perfect.

Monkey Island - Grand Lake
Overall a good experience. The cleanliness of the living area was pretty good, but the overall outside maintenance could use a little help.Television worked fine in the main area, but both bedroom units were low signal strength or a power board not provided.This is a beautiful setting with a stunning view of the lake. The resident groundhog made a couple of appearances and several live traps were on site.

Anniversary at the Lake
The property is well located on the lake with stunning views as the listing promises . The unit was clean and ready for occupation before our arrival . The property contact addressed any maintenance issues we encountered which were minor one exterior door handle and the bed frame but overall we were very satisfied with our stay
