"It was a cute little hotel! The room was clean and we had plenty of space. The wifi was a little iffy at times, but overall it worked fairly well. Breakfast in the morning was a nice addition. The man who ran the hotel had spots set up for each of the guests when we came downstairs for breakfast. There was also a heated room downstairs o store skis/snowboards and boots to make sure they were dry by the next morning (and they didn't have to clutter up the room). "The host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They even handed out a thank you note in our language. They went above and beyond. The area was quiet and lovely."

"We had booked a room in the hotel for two adults and a child. The price was quite high--even for the area, with which we are familiar--and we expected the room to reflect the three stars the hotel has and the price we had paid. Instead we were taken down the road to an overflow apartment--perhaps they had overbooked-- and housed in a tiny and very hot attic apartment (under the roof) with one very small window in the roof of the bedroom. "Sehr nette Besitzer. Super leckere und selbst gemachte Omelettes und Muffins zum Frühstück, jeden Tag waren die Omelettes und Muffins mit etwas anderem gefüllt/gemacht. Beim restlichen Frühstück gab es eine große Auswahl an Säften, Wurst, Käse usw. Das Zimmer war sehr nett mit Balkon, eine Terrasse am Frühstücksraum gab es auch um draussen zu frühstücken. Für Kinder gibt es Schaukeln, Rutschen und andere Geräte um sich auszutoben. Für Familien sehr zu empfehlen."

Comfortable and easy

"We had a really nice overnight stop at Vitranc Hotel. The staff member, Milos, was extremely polite and super helpful. Room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was great. The hotel is in a beautiful small village near the bigger ski resort village. "

"The hotel was a little walk from downtown, but I felt comfortable walking through the neighborhoods at night. It was very easy to walk from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to downtown Villach. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful; the manager was positively the best. She gave me great recommendations and was very quick in responding to my emails. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to meet her to thank her in person. "

"Hotel City is ideal for a short or extended stay in Villach. Courteous and friendly staff, comfortable rooms and excellent staff. A great breakfast is included in price. Location couldn’t be better-across square from railway station, beside bus terminal and convenient to centre of town which is only a few minutes stroll. Highly recommended "
