"This property was SO CUTE! The staff is so wonderful, and takes the time to make the stay special. The hotel itself has the cutest little vibe! The rooms are all a little different and have so many nice features to make traveling easy (cut out sections for luggage, large open floor space, etc). The beds are very comfortable. If you like boutique hotels, this one is a gem! "

"What a beautiful place to stay!! Right on the beautiful lake and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town. Also 5 minutes from Interlaken West which you walk along a quiet road to get to the hotel - very nice since the town itself can be busy. Best time to go is for New Year’s as they have a huge festival the 1st and a parade the 2nd. 5 minutes from a very cute cafe called Velo, and very close to the Victoria hotel. Reception was fabulous. "Interesting property with many retained aspects of the old prison. Rooms ate obviously small, with little storage, no hair driers etc. slightly disconcerting obscured glass loo and shower 'box' in the room. Great breakfast, with good choice. "

"Small hotel close to the train station and about an 8-10 minute walk to the old town. The “big room” was spacious with a nice sitting area. I saw the “medium room” and it was big enough for 2 people. You may hear trams go by but it’s not loud and frequent. The area around the hotel is great with several coffee shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
