"We stayed two nights before taking the ferry to Moorea. The hotel is a short walk to the downtown (5-10 minutes, maybe 15 to the Papeete market). Affordable, clean, good AC and staff was helpful. "

"Stayed at Intercontinental first and then Hilton. Paid more at Intercontinental and got less. Hilton has tv stations in English, over rooms, much better good for less money. Looks more updated and a more ambiance and vibe was great. "

"Kaveka is lovely. This is by far the best of 3 hotels/resorts we stayed at while in Tahiti. Our bungalo was steps away from the water where we could watch fish swim around the reef or look up at the dramatic tropical mountain landscape near us. When it rained, we relaxed under the covered patio enjoying the views of rain without actually being wet. Kaveka is a great deal compared to other resorts, especially if you want a more quiet and intimate vacation. You can swim around some reefs right at the hotel which is very convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. There are some friendly hotel cats and dogs that wander around the property during the day. And the staff is nice and helpful. We can't wait to come back. I'm hoping to bring the whole extended family one of these days :D "

"A modern hotel at the entrance to Cooks Bay – a beautiful fjord of the tropics. The aircon and wifi work very well, the restaurant is excellent and occupies a picturesque waterfront spot, and the kitchenette (with induction hobs) is very helpful, a supermarket is within a 12 minute walk. A new spa opened across the road (Maison Baia) and the 1.5 hour Polynesian massage experience was truly excellent. For diving, Nemoz dive centre may be able to offer pick-ups from the hotel. Transfer from / to the ferry is by taxi. "
