"Hotel Avra is a no-frills, great-value hotel with a very acceptable restaurant right on the shore. It is 50m from a beach, 100m from the ferry dock and 150m from the most interesting part of Aegina town. And yet it is quiet with good insulation and a/c. The view from the balconies is as good as it gets and the location is superb. Elefteria is a friendly and helpful hostess and her staff are quietly efficient. There might be better Rooms on the island - but not for these prices."

"While being very close to the harbor and restaurants, once you close the gate you are in a lovely garden and oasis from the town. we found the location perfect. my walked just a minute out the door to get coffee then relaxed in the garden every morning. the host is wonderful.
