With a large sitting room, spacious kitchen/diner, a separate dining room, and a second smaller sitting room with piano, there are plenty of options for getting together with your house guests. We were lucky with the weather, and ate breakfast on the patio and a barbecue in the garden. A memorable stay."

"The farmhouse is wonderful and beautifully furnished. The Aga ensured the kitchen area was always warm. The surrounding countryside was very peaceful with estate walks directly from the house. Our dogs were welcome and secure. But unfortunately the 1.5 mile estate access track requires much attention as it was very rough heavily potholed, more suitable for a vehicle with larger wheels."

"There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age."

"We all, three adults and a dog, enjoyed our holiday. The cottage was spacious and we'll furnished. The beds were especially comfortable. Lovely to have a porch to leave muddy boots and wet coats although the weather was pretty good for October. The downstairs shower wasn't very powerful but the one upstairs was really good. Lots of equipment in the kitchen but one or two additional items would be useful such as a salad bowl, potato peeler etc. Lots of interesting places to visit in the area. We...
