"The lodge had been double booked so another family was already settled into the lodge when I arrived with my two children and family dog. My sister and brother in law arrived from a long journey from Oxford shortly after with their dog. We were planning to celebrate a special birthday and wanted this quite stay after our recent family bereavement. This was extremely disappointing to say the least. "The whole appearance of the hotel reflects its history. The room and bathroom was tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful, i was able to store my bag after checkout until i was ready to catch the train. The dinner menu is limited hiwever thr food was tasty and the breakfast was more than sufficient and again tasty. I was able to get wifi in public areas but stuffled in my room, however i hasn't staying there for long. "

A relaxing and enjoyable stay in Motel One

"Hotel was perfectly placed for Piccadilly station and the city centre. The hotel was very nice, well furnished in the public areas. The room was a good size for a single occupant. The room was clean and comfortable. Kettle was provided for tea and coffee. The breakfast provided was excellent. All of the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone coming for a short stay in Manchester."

Enjoyable stay

"Difficult to navigate to the hotel as we were driving and so many one way systems, no parking at the hotel but we did unload the car, we had booked into a car park that was recommended and that was fairly nearby. Everything was within walking distance much easier than driving. The AO arena was only 10 minutes away to walk. Reception was speedy and the receptionist was helpful."
